Does anyone here or maybe someone from cti know if there will be a Pro24 6xl case? Also will it be G motors or baby H motors? One more thing is there a flush closure for the 24 case? Thanks for any info.

well it is possible to shove just enough Ns to make the motor a baby H if it's a white longburn.

I doubt that you would get anyone from the company to disclose plans for a future product until it is about to be released. Why would a company give its competitors a big heads up?

Who's to say its not about to be released? As of right now i don't think cti has any real competition in the 24mm category IMO.

Mainly because the last couple times I've emailed cti through the website i havent had a response but I do see them on the forums frequently. So I figured is give it a shot here.

as you can see, there is a 144G65W-8. It is a 2.3 second burn, and is nearly a full G. 1 more grain on top would probably be enough to oomph it into the H catagory. That or if CTI used its Imax formula.

I think the main reason they don't/haven't is that there is no real market for them. You already need a Cert L1 to fly most of the G motors in the 24mm range, and a 5mm diameter increase boasts a huge number of H motors, so while i think CTI has thought of it and probably made a motor, they haven't produced it because it just wouldn't appeal to a large enough crowd.

According to CTI's website:

they do plan to launch a 6xl case, but the impulse range isn't listed.

based on the impulse range of a 6 grain case and the information presented for their 1 grain case, I think there is a chance they can ding the H range, but IMO the offerings will be full tilt G motors with a few that cross the 160Ns barrier.

I think a list like this came up in another context, with the explanation that this was someone at CTI's idea of everything they might do someday, to save effort on paperwork later. I don't think it should be taken as evidence of any production or testing haven taken place for those motors. But at least it confirms they're thinking about it, which is better than nothing. A full 24mm G would be cool. A long burn version could go over 11k in the right rocket. I put a G25 29mm SU motor over 10kft, a few years ago.

That would be cool. I'm (slowly) working on a GPS tracking altimeter that would fit into a 24mm airframe to go nicely with that motor.

These motors were approved as a family. We don't want any limitations in what we can ship - after certification. Therefore we requested all permutations be approved. 6GXL is certainly on our list.

These look like they could be full G motors.....the C-slot Classic or dual thrust motor looks like it could get over 14kft in the right rocket. High ISP and high impulse....this one i would like to fly.

The Imax C-slot would be an awesome motor. With the imax maybe 15kft is possible.

Yes but in a few months they could be completely up and running...and so maybe they could produce it? But i dont know for sure..

And CTI did say last year that they would be making 6xl motors soon...but that was right before the fire.
