Mike, where is that? Lyons Township Park? I think I recognize the water tower in the background. It does look like a decent place to fly. I've driven past on I-96 a million times but you can't really see over the crest of the man-made mountain from the freeway.

Yes thats lyon township park, It was good enough that day for a L1 flight on an H motor. With plenty of room to spare. Like I said you just have to aim them towards the fire house so they dont go no the freeway. I know it sounds crazy but its true

Ok, I'm relatively new to this forum and don't post much, but this is a fun thread. The attached picture (if I do this right) is of me and a friend holding a rocket we made using a "rocket widget" from a bottle of Guiness Draft. Yes, it flew. I don't know where it got to, though. I guess I'll have to buy a new six-pack of rocket widgets. I'm the one on the right in the blue jacket.
