PM to member not showing in sent folder

I sent a number of PM's yesterday to a member.
Under Private Messages I show nothing sent in the sent items folder.

I initiated the messaging via the member's profile page.
Member profile>contact info>send a private message to...

This could be operator error but I don't think so.

Later I sent an email using the same method. I am not sure if this work either.

Could an administrator work with me to try my messaging?
It is possible that all went through however I have no indication.

If you go to the Edit Options menu of your control panel, there is a check box under private messaging that reads "Save copies to Sent". Make sure that is checked.

Thank you, the save sent option was not checked.
It is now.
