Voila! The Estes Twister was once called the Tornado.

Check out JimZ's plans - <a href="https://www.dars.org/jimz/est2004.htm">Estes Tornado</a>

Here's JimZ's site for all of your other out of production Estes kit plans - <a href="https://www.dars.org/jimz/estes.htm">Estes Kit Plans</a>

If the Tornado plans don't work out, let me know, I have the Twister plans.

Certainly an interesting looking rocket...what's the deal?

Are the smaller fins canted?...do they induce an intentional spin?

That would be cool...just to play with...Heck...they're all cool just to play with...LOL...!!!

Thanks...and have fun...!!!

Steward,

That is the seperation point, and the two pieces fall to earth in a spin, or a "Twister" Motion for tumble recovery.
