Plain Paper "Decals"

Hello there,

I have been a long time lurker here (if you count the original TRF) and have learned a lot of valuable things. Hopefully, someone can help me out with something. I am fairly sure I once read a thread here where someone used plain computer paper to make white letters that were then attached to the rocket. I am in need of doing something similar and wondered if the original posters to that thread (or anyone else who knows about this technique) could enlighten me as how to do it?

Jim's method is a good one, I've done something similar a few times in the past.

There are also a couple other alternatives addressed in Tech-Tip 16 on Decal Making in the library section of the Narhams.org wed site. These options are toward the end of the article.
