12/5 was our (NASA Houston) HP launch day for December. I arrived late, as usual, due to the length of drive and because I am not a morning person to begin with.
Conditions will probably never be better in Houston. Very light breeze, comfortable temperature, low humidity and clear sky.
Unfortunately it appears someone fiddled with the settings on my camera so all of my pictures were way over exposed and worthless. (Kids are great, aren't they...)
I was able to get in all 3 flights I prepped for.
Starship Vega (on an H250G-6), which drifted down slowly enough to stick the landing! (Next time it will be an I245G....)
BSD Thor on an H220T-6 that hit the edge of the concrete with no damage. (Would have been a good day for an I366 and dual deploy. Maybe next time...)
And Fat Daddy on it's maiden flight with an I245G-6, (thank you Jim H. for the photos) I guess I have to paint it now.....
