My first launch since pandemic started, last flew at Tripoli San Diego HOVOC launch in March, 2020. Hopefully, spring will bring new regional launches.

Good to be back at Jean Dry Lake. Near perfect weather. Hot, sunny, breeze Friday giving way to calm rest of the week. I didn't go to town this trip.

I launch six rockets this time... two stage, air start, dark matters, etc.

For 10 years in rocketry I've suffer with popups being beaten by the wind.... I've move to canopy and don't have to worry.

Here is a video of my flights.

It is a kit from Canopies and Tarps. You get the tarp, metal parts, and bungees. I ordered the legs end caps from the website too and got the 1 3/8 chain link fence poles from home depot. I just cut the poles to length per instructions. You can pick color of tarp.

Here is the link on what I ordered.

Poles are transportation problem but if you have trailer, racks on car, etc works out.

I stake down and didn't worry about the wind.
