I have been searching for a 7.5" fiberglass nosecone for several weeks now for my LOC Skinwalker build, and I contacted all of the usual retailers, and all came back empty handed. After taking a look at Performance Hobby's website. and seeing that they were out of stock on nosecones that size, I decided to give Ken a call and just ask any ways. After getting no answer, I remembered reading on here that the best way to get ahold of him was to text, so a quick text, and about an hour later a response: Sorry, no nosecones that size in stock now, but possibly one coming in the fall". So there was some hope.
Fast forward a week. I was at work Monday, and I suddenly got a call from Ken. He was at his storage unit in PA, and told me he found a 5:1 ogive nosecone in 7.5", and if i wanted it. I told him I would take it, and to send me a PayPal invoice for payment, and i would pay for it ASAP. This morning I got the invoice from him, and found out that he had already shipped it to me, before he even got paid! Now, talk about customer service!
I have bought from Ken a couple of times in the past, and this time he went above and beyond, and has made me for sure a returning customer!
