Of course I don't want my rockets to crash, especially first flight. However I try hard and do my best to make um strong and nice looking as possible with my limited skills and budget.
I want it to look good even while it's on it's way down.

Speaking of flying naked... Saw a friend flying a Nighthawk naked. It flew great.

Better than getting burned while flying naked. That can be a sting that lingers.

I guess I should clarify... The Nighthawk was naked. Thankfully he was fully clad.

There is something liberating about flying naked, although ROC is very careful how far they let me go with that.

I would advise not straddling the motor during flight.

Where the hell is Major Kong? Good trivia question. What is written on the two bombs in Dr. Strangelove?

I don’t know how many times I've watched that movie, I don't think I ever realized that’s James Earl Jones in the plane with Slim Pickens. Speaking of Pickens, one of my favorite things about Dr. Strangelove is that he was never told it was a comedy. He was only given his scenes and played it straight up.

"Colonel Bat Guano, if that really is your name!" Probably one of the funniest lines in the movie.

I do like to have my rockets painted, most of the time. Come up with a pretty basic scheme, spray on primer, first color, mask, second color, and let 'er rip. As long as I haven't done a totally crap job, it's good enough.

In other words, no, you're not the only one.

And that's my problem. My paint jobs always look like crap. More and more I am loving colored FG.
