paint remover....

does anyone know of any paint remover that will take paint thats on top of paint off? Because i got sum on this chair and idk what exactly kind of color it is so i was just wondering cuz i need to get it off cuz its not my chair.

I am not sure if it will work with paint, but nail polish remover will get permanent marker off...you may want to give it a try.

Depends what type of paint. If it's Water-Based, then water should get it off. If it's a spray-paint ect, Turps or Thinners should get it straight off.

A sand-blaster will remove everything.. including the wood. I'd suggest getting a bottle of that Orange based Stripper (Citrus-Strip or what ever it is called). It works pretty well. I've worked with a solvent called CitriSafe that would eat just about any paint. I think Citrus-Strip (or whatever) is about the same grade of stuff. Just wear appropriate PPE while using it (gloves, safety goggles, etc.)
