Go to a liquor store on Wednesday or Thursday night. They'll have a ton of empty boxes with the cardboard inserts that separate the bottles. We use them for lots of rockets. Did I mention they were free??

I use old Wal-Mart bags too. Crumple them up and they protect the rockets really well. Additionally, they are much easier to contain and/or chase than packing peanuts when its windy on the launch field.Originally posted by Justin
I agree. That's exactly what I do. The long Sterelite one's. You can get them in a couple depths. I don't use peanut though..I get them all over the place. I use old walmart bags. You can put rockets in them, and crumple them up around them. And best of all they don't melt or stick to models when you have them in your hot van for months...
