Orion LAS

Like my other Project Constellation models, this is based on paper kit scaled to ~1/70 from is original 1/96. I was inspired by the Apollo LES builds on the forum and an Orion LAS model rocket video on Youtube. It's about 90% complete. The nose cone is off because I have yet to add ballast. The parachutes are from the DR. ZOOCH Box-o-stuff and it flies on13 mm engines.

Agreed but it would take a ton of nose weight to make it stable. I've been working on a similar problem with a DCX Card model conversion. Still looking for the perfect marrige of size and weight. Can't wait to see how the Orion LAS performs.
