Hello:

I own a Featherweight tracker.

On the last flight, one became two, (meaning pieces).

Can anyone tell from my photo if this is repairable?

If so, how would I go about repairing it?

Thanks

Roy

Forgot to mention, sent email to Featherweight, waiting response.

I think that's going to be a difficult repair, as it looks like all of the pads got ripped off the board under that component.

No, it looks to me like the solder sheared, and it can just be soldered back on. I hope you have access to the right equipment; I use solder paste and a heat gun. Use kester leaded solder, after you remove the stuff that's on it. That issue is why neither I or the military use lead-free solder. I took two medical equipment manufacturers Rohs compliant in the 00's. It still bugs me that we could ship a ton of lead as shielding, but not a gram as solder. :)
