In OpenRocket is there a way to model the CP/stability of a rocket which has fins with stabilizers (fins with other fins mounted perpendicularly on them). As an example, see the Estes/Semroc gyroc below. Can I just attach "finlets" as a set of 2 to the body tube instead of the main fins, and then duplicate them so there are two sets (4 total finlets)? I've set the rotation of both pairs of finlets to be the same, so they "overlap" and are all perpendicular to the "main" fins. Will that get the CP calculation mostly correct?
I've also got another model with two T shaped fins with perpendicular fins mounted on the tips of the main fins. I'd like to be able to use openrocket to do CP/stability calcs for that one also...
