Open Rocket kevlar shock cord?

Hi,
In OR under shock cords, the only choices are for elastic, nylon, thread, and custom. Should we choose custom for kevlar? How to determine the Material Density?

I think you would need to get that from a Kevlar manufacturer. Density = mass / volume, and the volume would be hard to measure. Plus, tubular Kevlar is very porous, and that complicates things.

Bottom line -- the easiest way to use OR is to get all your measurements correct; then, when the rocket is built, override your mass and CG with measured values.
