I got the wiring diagram off TRF from a 4 pad controller, toned it down for just one.

The parts from RadioShack are about $7 for buzzer and switches (that come in a red/black package of 2). Sweet.

The 9V battery is the safety key itself, just using that old standby called gravity, once the bird goes, knock this thing on its side, battery drops out, and its neutralized (safe).

The buzzer, well it IS polarity sensitive, which may or may not be a good thing.

Actually, I'm kind of proud of this.

I used this over the holidays for E9's and lower, quite groovy.
The buzzer works great, and I hold the buzzer down for launch, just to warn "the crowd", but it goes quiet when the power dumps to the igniter.

In all of the EXCITEMENT of a total of 4 launches only because of pretty lousy weather, every time, in the hurry of chasing a roc, the safety key-combo-battery was laying away from the controller. Sort of made the day. One design I've had that actually *WORKS*
