What's your favorite motor for a 1 pound rocket.?? 3 fin/4 fin classic shape. 2.5" to 3'' diameter.

g76, no question about it. Fly your FAR101 model rocket sans HazMat anywhere reasonable.

Depends on your altitude goal but for sport flying in that size range, and this being the midpower forum, I think G64Ws are hard to beat for the price, performance, and noise.

G64W is my standard fun reload...very dependable, very fast, very clean, no issues. I was recently lamenting that my supply is dwindling.
