I think defense spending, especially for gee whiz stuff, willl take a pounding for the next few years. We need to spend tens of billions just to repair, maintain and replace the stuff we use today. High tech dream weapons just aren't in the cards after years of war and all the wear and tear on the equipment we have.
Undoubtedly there is still significant political uneasiness about an unmanned heavy bomber. They're still not very happy about UAV's with Hellfire missiles.
Not necessarily hurt about the cuts in defense spending. On the contrary I think it's the right move. Just hate to see this one get shelved, because of personal investment.
