I discovered that old shock cord my not be your friend. I built Big Bertha II (aka Super Big Bertha) over 20 years ago but never launched it.
I returned to rocketry 2 years ago, and have launched her several times successfully. SBB is 37 inches tall and (when introduced back then) uses D-12-5 engines.
Yesterday, the launch went a little askew. The shock cord snapped.
On a lighter note, Nose Cone landed safely by parachute.
