I have some PML Foam which is labeled to have expired in 2017. Both bottles were in a closed bag and still sealed. They were in a box in my shed, subject to heat, humidity, freezing temperatures and a visit from a mouse at some point in the last 4 years.

I bought it for a mini and built it by double dipping the fin roots. I dug it out of the shed because I wanted to foam some nosecones.

I tested a small batch tonight to make sure it was still good.

You can see it worked, and right about the expected 10x expansion too.

When a company adds an expiration date to a product, I think it's because in practice, they can't test a product forever. They pick a time period, confirm the product is good for that time period, and then don't take responsibility after that, because they generally don't know or need to care about what happens afterwards.
