I haven't done a build thread in awhile and I haven't seen this one done so...

Here is the completed motor mount!

The fin stock is a pretty good grade of balsa. Here I show the fins first coat with Elemer's wood filler. I normal sand and recoat at least twice.

Large tube cut. This was difficult because the tube wanted to give as I was cutting it.

Decided to use some Kevlar cord instead of the trifold elastic attachment. Would have been nice if I would have thought of this before I assembled the motor mount. I had to drill a hole an fish the cord through took me an extra 45 mins.

Here is the cut out balsa parts. I am a little concern about the fins size 90 degrees out from the wings.

Decided to paint the center turbine before the rest of the build and paint
