Hi,

I'm working for a student design team in Toronto and we're improving our current hybrid motor engine liner using EPDM sheets and HTPB as a binder. We've been having trouble locating a supplier in Canada to avoid export restrictions from the US. Does anybody have any experience in trying to get HTPB and any advice?

Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to contact CTI and tell them it's for a college project etc. They might know of a source.

HTPB is acrylic enamel paint base. As a paint it can be catalyzed to harden it, same stuff we use in our motors. There are a lot of paint companies that mix local so importing is no problem, you just have to find the right one ;)
