Just some of what I hope to be able to fly at NOVAAR this weekend.
1st up a couple of payloaders to try out my new Quest Altimeter.
A Quest Zenith II, two stage, and a scratch built BT50 payloader.

Next a few clones. A Goblin that I changed by making it an 18mm flyer.
A Red Max With a streaner.
And the D.A.R.T. After rolling my own nosecone I find it
online at Sirius Rockets.

How about some Goonies? A Goonflash, Goon V-1, and the Goontracer.

And the new Estes Sustainables. (at least the ones I've built).

Some More:

A scratch built Saros. Plans from online. 18mm.
An 18mm Scratch Lucky Seven? (anyway one of those xprise rockets) :confused2:
A Goonymede. A goonification of the Ganymede plan from Estes.
A generic 4fnc, from parts I had laying around. 18mm

A few more to pack up for NOVAAR SATURDAY!

This is my take on a Squirrel Works kit. I added the extra 'Jet' engines, (like the
O.T.), and wing pods.

Going through the book, "The Dream Machines: A pictorial History of the Spaceship in Art, Science and Literature", this is a Bonestell lander.

A Goonie Scram Jet.

And my Viper Mk IIIHS.

Here's the Goonlantis I hope to get up.

And the "Target" Christmas rocket, thats been worked on for quite some time.

I did get to fly with NOVAAR this past weekend. While I didn't get all of the
rockets I'd packed launched, I had a great time.

The cluster Tin Lizzie up on a couple of C6-5.
Nice flight. No roll at all.

This is the Space Angel (ne. Navy). Due to the shape of the main body, I
built this rocket with an off center line thrust. I put the motor too far from
the center line. It still flew safely, but not a straight up. Too much of an
arc. I'll have to see about changing the motor mount.

Here is the Space Chimp rocket. As I said, it still looks too plane. Needs more
color. :p

The neat thing you see from the pics is the A10-3t motors of the cluster
lit first, then the D12-5.

It had a very pretty flight. I was slightly worried about the size of the fins,
with all that weight on the back end.

And none of the "pipes" came off! (very fragile)

For a simple 4fnc rocket, this one performed well. I used a streamer, and
a Quest B-4.

Very nice

A few singletons. Even with the motor drive, I missed the launch. :confused2:

Out of all the gooies I've recently built, the only one I got to fly was the
Goonie Scram Jet. It did fly good though.

This is the Semroc Taurus clone. Still having problems with black paint.
Nice flight on a Quest B6-4.

This clone I scratch built of the Saros. Very good performance on a Quest
B6-4. (I bought in bulk pack :))

The Target Christmas rocket was a real pleasure to fly. I was the most pleased
with this one. ;) This time a Quest C6-3.

Now the one I was most displease with, my Viper Mk iiHS. For this flight I went
with an RMS E18. I went through 4 igniters! Three of them were crappers.
I was then given an igniter, ( I sure wish I remember what it was, and who
gave it to me.) With the fourth igniter, the Viper went.

The changes I made to this version (stretched), did help with the stability.
While it still coned on the way up, they were much smaller. It could have
even been a fast spin, rather than a cone.

I didn't put a long enough shock cord in, and the one used snapped on ejection. While the nose floated far away, the body flip/flopped from a flat spin,
to ballistic. Unfortunately, ballistic was its attitude when it hit one of the
hurdle fences. :(

Sorry, no flight pics. It was just too fast.

Another VERY good flyer was the Pem Tech Bucky Jr. on a D12-5.
I can heartily recommend this rocket. A truly great flyer.:clap::clap:

Well that's all I got to fly. Assembling the RMS on the field sure ate into my
flying time. Next time partial assembly at home first.

Thanks to NOVAAR for letting my fly, and giving me help when I asked for it.:cheers::clap::cheers:

That would have been me, and it was an Aerotech First-Fire

Thank you Mr. Dan. You were sure right in saying that igniter would light
the motor. :D

The unknown silver rocket looks a wee bit familiar...

And our Achilles is patterned after the spaceship from the movie "20 Million Miles to Earth."

Would you have any way to find out who produces the red and silver retro ship? That is way cool as well.

Thanks for to compliment on Bucky!
