Thanks for posting this.

I am a member of a WWII flight sim forum and when someone posts something about the brave men and women who serve or have served we offer a salute like this: S!

I don't hink there is anything else to say other than S!

Well it's now Remembrance day here in Canada and elsewhere. Over 100,000 Canadians have given their lives in the service of their country since 1914.
Thats a big number but to me it does not relate in a real way somehow.
My Uncle Everett served in the Royal Regiment of Canada. He was killed on September 13 1944 in the follow up to DDay. He had two sons and a young wife. His death was a tragedy like so many others. We owe him and I owe him. I was the first member of our family to visit his grave since he died. He is buried with 714 comrades in a cemetery near calais. Everett and many others like him have given their lives from from France to the Panjwai in Afghanistan. Thanks seems hardly enough for what he and many others have endured for us.
