You can buy six packs from erockets and 24-packs directly from Quest.
I ordered from Belleville, shipped June 15, delivered today. I want someone I can drive to within say 2 hours to pick it up. It took a month for usps to get it from Illinois to Missouri, another 2 weeks to nyc.

Good luck then. I wouldn't hold my breath though; it's hard to find brick-and-mortar hobby shops that carry anything but Estes. If you find one, support the heck out of them.

USPS is just a crapshoot lately because of the coronavirus. On one hand, you have your situation, on the other hand, I just received a package that shipped from Washington to Virginia in two days.

I've heard of other people having problems getting stuff shipped from Belleville, though. Maybe the post office in their area is just especially crappy. Ordering from Quest will probably take a while because they are in Utah, but erockets is based in Dayton, Ohio. I've placed several orders with them during this coronavirus debacle and always received what I ordered within a week.

You can ask Michael at the-rocket-store whether he'd be interested in carrying MMX motors. Right now he does not, but he might be receptive. He's near Allentown.

Some of that delay may be from USPS, but the bulk of it is from Belleville's lackadaisical shipping practices.
There are very few rocketry hobby shops around NYC, and even fewer among them carry micro maxx engines.

If it was me, I would order from one of the following online vendors.
In my experience, their shipments arrive within 5 business days:

Good luck!
