The members of the Northern Illinois Rocketry Association (NIRA) - NAR Section #117 invite you to our annual day long mini convention dedicated to all aspects of model rocketry to be held on Saturday, February 7th from 10am till 4pm.

It's perfect for the model rocket enthusiast, those interested in learning more about the hobby, TARC teams, educators or NARCON Presenters who want a dress rehersal!

This year presentation topics include a member of the Jet Propulsion Lab's Solar System Ambassadors talking about plans for a manner mission to Mars as well as presentation from Pat Butler about his recent participation as a member of the US's World Spacemolding Championships team as covered in the most recent issue of the NAR's Sport Rockettry Magazine. There will also be plenty of food, great conversation plus a make-it/take-it for younger rocketeers.

Best of all, it's FREE!

Details can be found here at the NIRA web site.

It would be great to have other TRFers from the midwest join us for this event. Questions can be posted here.
