I apologize for the delay in this review, as I've had this A/V bay built for a while, flown, but just haven't posted. I needed a 54mm A/V for my Mach 1 rocketry Portia. The A/V bay was a custom length and used non-standard I/D FG tubing as it was the prototype for the kit. Steve at SMT was SUPER accommodating and after I measured all the needed dimensions with a Caliper sent me an A/V bay designed to hold my lipo (2S) and an eggtimer Quark. First off every thing was nicely packaged and labelled. I ordered an extra switch and some hardware I thought I'd need but didn't end up using. It'll get integrated into another future project for sure. Fit and Finish were perfect for 3D printed parts and all the rubber gaskets and seals fit perfectly. I really like the brass nut inserts that will provide added strength and longevity of use. In the end, I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Steve's products. This being one of the first 54mm A/V bays he's done.
Highly recommend.20181129_132552.jpg
