I recently finished this one. It was built from one of the Estes booster 55s that I picked up at Hobby Lobby for $.99. Isn't really a model of anything, but it is designed to look like it could be a real research rocket or light satellite booster. Actually ended up looking a lot like an X-17...

To give it more of a scale look I added some balsa "conduits" down the sides and a busy paint job. Shouldn't be too hard to see after it lands! I had the transitions in my stash of parts and the round nose cone came from Erockets. It was a fun build and not a typical FFNC. I guess it would be a FFTTND... (Four Fins, Three Tranitions and a Nose Dome)

A few pics:

This one is kind of silly but I like the "drama" of it!

down the side of their rockets over there... 

This actually peeks my curiosity.
I wonder what rocket related research Australia has done over the years?
Do they have some cool sounding rockets or military hardware (that unclassified pictures exist of)?

I may have to knock on the google door.
