I had to order a new NC for my 3" Punisher. Tim told me he was temporarily out of the originals and that the replacement was different but I
would like it. Trusting Tim, I didn't give it a second thought. Well it came today and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised
with my new nose cone. Now if G10 plate would only come in different colors. Think of it, never paint again.
(well maybe a clear coat)

Bought two of those nosecones. One for a Formula 54 with a 29mm motor and I too have a Punisher Sport I upgraded the N/C. One thing is for certain, that N/C is radiolucent for a tracker.
I epoxied the bulkhead to the coupler and used PEM nuts inside the coupler so I could secure the NC to the coupler with an EggFinder inside using 2/56 buttonhead screws. Yeah the buttonheads are a source
of drag but the rocket will still fly plenty high. Going to use a Jolly Logic Chute Release as this rocket begs for it. An I200 will fit but the longest delay is not enough for it. I am tooling with adding
a small piece of a delay grain to get a second or more and maybe fly the I in it. Shakedown with an H220 or an H250 if I feel I can risk it again: https://www.rocketryforum.com/showt...-Mapping-Program-Update&p=1584109#post1584109
I should get it close to 5k'. Kurt
