The TMT crew has tested and certified two new motors from Aerotech. The first is an 18mm single-use device in the Q-jet by Aerotech series, called the B6W. It is available and was tested in 4 and 6 second delay versions. The total impulse is 4.865 N.s and the average is 4.222 N.
The second is a reload kit for the 75/3840 hardware called the L1940X-P. This uses the relatively new Propellant X. Total impulse for this motor is 4329 N.s and average is 1939.3 N.

One detail I should have mentioned is that Aerotech recommends using the stainless steel forward seal disc with the L1940X.

At 4330ns (4400ns rounding up) the L-1940X is pretty tight for J motors but it works to stays under M-impulse when mated with a nice variety Good deal.

A nice ride would be a 54 mm M motor sitting on top of the L . Just under 10kns . Done properly , you could get close to 100k.
