Rocketship Games is excited to launch its second kit, the R4 "The Brett" micro-rocket!

R4 "The Brett" is a bit longer than our R3 HoneyBee and the two contrast nicely visually with their respective angular and rounded styling. They are though essentially identical in construction and flight, both featuring easy-to-assemble laser cut and 3D printed parts along with detailed instructions.

The major difference between the kits is that the R4 includes vinyl stencils rather than decals. These plus some hobby masking tape let you replicate the graphic design seen in the photoshoot model above in any combo of colors you choose. Using the stencils well does impose slightly more hobby skill than the kit otherwise entails. They require just a little more patience and care to let the base paint fully cure, peel off each stencil without the negative spaces, and then apply them properly aligned. But the results look great in our opinion, and that process is still very accessible to adult beginners and motivated middle school rocketeers. The stencils are also of course completely optional and there are a ton of fun ways to paint up and finish this model.

Shop Notes
Summer travel will keep us from further production throughout July. Orders will be fulfilled as usual, actually by R4's namesake Brett, a close friend and the chief test pilot of Rocketship Games. But products and stock are what they are until August. We've added item quantities in our shop to reflect what's currently available. I only mention this because R3 HoneyBees might sell out (again), but they'll be restocked later this summer.

Future Plans
The first batch of our third kit, R6, a sport styled BT5-based model very similar to R3 and R4, is largely produced and will be out at the end of August. Prototypes of the R5a MX Hawkeye have worked well and we expect to release that kit at the same time.

Thanks for reading, as well as all the feedback & orders we've received so far!
