Estes has a new two-page ad for their X-Prize kits.

I had to scan each page by itself. I don't have any software which can combine the pages to make it look like it did in Hobby Merchandiser magazine.

I will post each page separately.

Hmm...well, just imagine if this ad would have come out in the '60s. We may never have had a space program!

Interesting choice of words - "...they fly off the shelves as well." They might as well have said "They'll burn a hole in your pocket too!"

So tell us Jim, when does FlisKits hire a model for an ad? :D :p The only thing missing in this picture is the chic holding a Deuce. Ok...that does it...don't make me Photoshop that in there!

EDIT: Upon closer inspection I see that this ad is geared towards distributors/vendors and not the individual consumer.

Hot babes in rocket ads... It's a GOOD thing!! :D :D

All you need is some discipline to focus your eyes on the Rockets.

"There were rockets in that ad?"

Rockets and cute women..

Both are uplifting...

"slaps himself"

:D

wow - things have sure changed with Estes marketing!
I about fell over when I saw the model in the ad.

no, there weren't any models like that in Estes ads of the 60s!

Not sure I agree with the marketing strategy, but it's GREAT to see Estes putting out interesting kits again.
