and the Master is back for the christmas special:eek:

Nah, the doctor realised he shouldn't have a god complex :D
Besides, Donna won't let him do anything insane in the christmas special

Anyone know when regular episodes take off?
This year was a break, so series 5 should star somewhat next month, right?

P.S. w00t 300 posts of nonsense!

BBC website says spring 2010 -so no big clues there:confused2:, but the trailer shows the new companion, the daleks, the statues from Blink, and the doctor firing a gun:eek:

The trailer is not available to US IP addresses.... a point which I suspect frustrates my wife even more than me. I have a feeling I'm going to miss the Tenth Doctor myself....

Didn't Pertwee's Doctor use a gun once or twice?

And does not fire a gun...
I have a bad feeling that this new 11th doctor will be doing some other non-drwho stuff :(

i'm not sure about that, but it's one of the doctor's trademarks is that he does not carry a gun.

Doesn't carry a gun, but he has used one a time or two. Both Davidson (#5) and Colin Baker (#6) used guns (against Daleks), and of course, Tennant used Wilfred's gun in the latest episode.

All valid, but anything against Daleks is allowed and the use of the gun in the last episode was very out of character and upset the Dr Who traditionalist. the idea was that the Doctor is a pacifist and is there to help -hence his self assumed name, ironic given his role is the demise of the timelords. he always gives the baddies a chance to choose the better option. the last Dr was moving away from that - even though i think he was the best of all the Dr. i think Smith will go even further away from the original premise.

Davros's final speech in series four summed it up quite well.
