Save October 24-25 for NEMROC 2009.

The New England Model Rocketry Conference is a two-day October rocketry event held annually in Amesbury, MA by CMASS and sponsored by FLISKITS.

We will be presenting a session on NEMROC at NARCON 2009 to emphasis the importance of regional rocketry events, and will have a planning session to ascertain what folks might want to hear about at this year NEMROC. (Our website has not been updated yet to reflect the 2009 dates.)

Bob,

Wow!

January!

:D

I knew that getting a NEMROC planning meeting slated for NARCON would get us talking about it sooner! Glad to see it happening.

This can only mean that this years NEMROC is going to be the best every (yeah, let's set the bar high!)

Those of you attending NARCON who would like to be involved in NEMROC, or just to find out more about it, and conventions in general, are encouraged to participate. Get your feedback in and offers of serviced early. You'll want to be a part of THIS!

Prove this prediction wrong: Actual planning for NEMROC will begin 10/01/09.

Bad, BAD Bill!

Naughty, naughty Bill!

Hey, technically planning began when Bob and I discussed having a formal planning meeting at NARCON, back in October.

So there!

Then the NARCON schedule came out with the NEMROC planning meeting.

So there!

Now we have this thread!

So there!

HA!

ok. NOW we can wait till October to continue...

Naw, only kidding :) I assume you'll be there in March? Come on, now Bill. Force your own prediction to be wrong!

Or course I'll be at NARCON. I'll buy you all the CMASS hot dogs you can eat if substantial planning for NEMROC is done before the beginning of October.

Bob,

That's part of our problem, we've got a bunch of cynics in the club! :D

I'll take that bet, Bill, cuz I know I'm going to need an incentive, so...

I think realists is a better term.

I was worried that "all the CMASS hot dogs you can eat" would be a negative incentive. We'll buy name brand ones for you.

As an 'outsider', just having the dates set sounds pretty "substantial" to me! :D
Setting the dates is the easy part. That gets done real early every year so we know how much time we have to procrastinate.

Who gets to define "substantial"?

Compared to previous years we've had infinitely more discussion than we've ever had this early in the year. I'm going to concede and call it substantial.

And Jim is supposed to show up at the 2nd CMASS meeting in April for further discussion. Let's not let him forget.
