I built this for our clubs first night launch... It flew quite well, but came down fast and hard, landing on the asphalt... so I spent a couple of hours repairing it today.

What I need is a name for this monster...

How about "Lightsaber"?

BTW, that's a pretty darn cool rocket you've got yourself!

It's not quite 20 inches tall... each pod has two led spotlights... with one in the nose. That maiden flight was a D12-5... and that was a little under powered...

Let's see...

"Tri-Quantum Greased Mod White Star Lightning Free Long Distance Lightsaber Bug Pod"...

I wonder if Papa-Tago could do a decal that long...???

If you had seen it as it decended you would think "UFO"... sorta kinda really eerie... Like area 51 and a half... maybe 2...

Good pictures are scarce... I found this odd one...

I have sorta been away haven't I...???

Rest assured that I wasn't away from my rockets...!!!

I realized that if you look through the archives, the pictures of our fleet hasn't changed all that much... from 2003 untill now, only a few additions... and of course, we lost one...

I've made the decision to replace most of the fleet by spring... and with some mid-power as well...

Thanks Johnnie...!!!
