Need help printing decals on a Alps MD-1300

Hello,
I recently got an Alps MD-1300. I followed Tango Papa's instructions on printing waterslide decals. I am using Bel laser decal paper. He suggests that you run two passes with the white to make it more opaque. When I do a second pass with the white it leaves an uneven texture. Like the ink from the 1st pass is being roughed up or the ink from the 2nd pass isn't going on smooth like the 1st pass. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
