I came across a nasas site with hi-res pictures with different views,sometimes with reference ruler on the model of missiles, rockets, and jets.

If you go to the NASA Technical Report Server, there are lots of reports with wind tunnel models. Often they have diensioned drawings of the models that you can use as modeling references. They are the best source I've found for the correct proportions of a Mercury escape tower, for instance. The Rascal missile was another one where you can find wind tunnel model drawings and scale them.
