Well, it was a GREAT day today; our NAR Cincinnati Section had their first HPR launch ever, and it was FANTASTIC!!! We had a smaller turnout, which was ok and we saw many cool ships take to the air and only a couple dug trenches. It was a very safe event, ran professionally and everyone there had a great time!

My Small Endeavour had me on pins an needles when the chute ejected, but got tangled and freefell in. It landed in the high grass, exactly 2" from a three foot round Concrete block!!! Not a scratch, so it was a good day for me. The Amraam 4 was awesome as ever and we had some really cool ships, including a Pyramid on a J350, A 1/2 Scale Sidewinder on a H97 Blackjack, a extremely long and awsome flying bird by Dave Russell and our very own Prez, Marck Fisher, started it all with the first launch of the day. Shane had some bad luck when a motor problem lost his bird to the rocket godz. Sorry if I missed some people, I was a bit busy; I spent most of the time mentoring the RSO and CSO for their sign offs, but got some flying in too. We are going back tomorrow to do it again, since the waiver is still good!

Thanks go to Zack Green for sharing some of his pics of launches I didn't get.

where are the pics, you say???

Absolutely AWSUM !!!!!

I didn't remember the field being that big.

That IS one hell of a field!!!!

Beautiful pics dude. Definitely a day to remember.

Question: How many of those people in the pics have computers and how many are members of the forum??? :)

I have to echo the previous remarks...nice site, cool rockets, great pics! I'm jealous tho...was cold and rainy here today

You mind digging up some facts on the Pyramid's construction?
