My daughter just told me she thinks she is somewhat nerdy. She plonked the word "telemetry" down in scrabble against her friends recently

When Bill Spadafora was President of CMASS, we'd have half of our meetings at his house. When his daughter was still living there, she'd sometimes pass through the basement/workshop where we held our meetings and greet us (generally all males with an average age well above 45) with "Hello, Nerds." We knew she was doing this with affection but it was most ironic when she stated it wearing a Transformers T-shirt.
She went on to get a job with the TSA so we were able to refer to her, with all due affection, as Eliot Ness.
