The idea for this rocket started as a joke in my family, suffice to say that there is a member who did indeed, like to eat cat food. Somehow, between my son and wife, a rocket concept congealed, and I welcomed a suggestion for building another model.
It will be dual deploy with an Eggtimer Quark. I'm expecting an atrocious amount of drag, so I have no idea what the motor eject delay ought to be. Turns out Rocksim doesn't have "feathers", "fur", or "whiskers" in their materials database. Besides, electronic deployment is more fun. It is going be as light as possible, I estimate between 10-11 oz when done, so it will fly alright on low thrust E and F motors.
The "drogue" will be a boa with feathers, and it may end up with whiskers.
