I based it on the Saturn 1 1/100 scale models out there. So far I only have the markings wraps on the tanks. My next step is the addition of the detailing parts at the lower section of the first stage. Power will be "D" engines. I did a small amount of detailing at the top of the first stage tanks, based on photos of the Block 1 rockets and prints I found on line. I even added dimensionally correct spherical tanks in between the structure but it was a waste of effort since they are blocked from view by the tanks. Fins will be made from clear acrylic sheet stock.
