I built myself a Swift 220 just because I've never actually done a mini. Now I want to build more of them, lol!

They can be one shot wonders, one shot and you wonder where they went. These tiny little rockets on even the little motors they fly on, are too quick to follow and so small they get lost against the sky. Make sure its an easy color to see as most of them are spotted at or near landing. I have one getting ready to be primed now.

Better yet convert just about any 13mm motor rocket into a Micro Maxx powered rocket.
I generally try to make them rear ejection but the Estes Mosquito, Quark, Swift 220 and others all fly very well on a single MMX-II motor.

Those minis are fun rockets. Could probably convert this 13mm rocket to MMX also, the Centuri Two-Bitz:

print the fins and body on 110# cardstock, and turn your own balsa cone, or use a Mosquito nose cone. I think I got this set of two mini rockets free with a coupon back in the days of Centuri mail-order.

I actually made a similar cardstock template like this rocket to use as a display stand for small rockets that don't have fins that can hold themselves upright.

Yes, these kinds of rockets will go pretty high up!
I have flown the ARS Imp, (I tested it) and it will go like 300' on a 1/4A and 650' on a 1/2A.
I'm sure you could fly it on a micro motor, too.

The Imp stays within sight on the 1/4A but not so much on a 1/2A, lol. :)

Thanks,
