3" QCC Explorer. He decided to do all the little internal parts of the tam scoops.

What motor mount is in it? Is he making it DD or motor eject?

He's using a PML Miranda as the starting point, so 54mm mount and the kit comes with 38mm and 29mm adapters.

Alex has put together a Quark, so I'm sure he'll make it dual deploy-able. I think the kit comes with a motor eject piston, so we'll have to give it some thought.

I've heard of funky problems in cold weather with pistons- the parts shrink/expand at different rates, and the piston gets stuck. Granted, this is hearsay and not firsthand experience.

Is Alex 18 yet, or still a jr NAR person?

This is meant to be L2-able. It will be mid winter before he can stick a J in it.

At long last, Alex is moving his arse on this project.

Intakes assembled, new fin slots cut. Extra centering rings to match the new fin tabs burned

Will he have it done before he goes off to college this fall? Maybe have it done for the TWA launch this Sat?
