High voltage behaves in - for the uninformed - unpredictable ways. Touching anything (even supposedly non-conductive materials) that are in contact with power lines can kill you in a number of horrible and painful ways.

My best recovery ever occurred at a recent SARG launch.

Nice boost and very high. Rocket appeared to be drifting back under chute to the pad but passed just over my head and landed right at my feet. I took TWO steps and picked it up.

My daughter got the video on her phone of me taking two exaggerated steps to retrieve the rocket.

Shortest recovery ever.

I know all about landing in the power lines. My L3 flight landed in a set about a mile away. A single call to the power company got my rocket back.
