This is one of my favorites. I tried it on a C11-7. Seemed a little weak for this model. Flies perfect on D12-7. On the left is a picture taken at "Fillibles Folly" Sheridan OR 9/20/03. On the right sporting a fresh paint job at "Rocktober" in Brothers, OR 10/18/03. Launched 2 times and recovered with no damage.

Yeah I have them.. I was thinking of putting them on but I was afraid they would pop off. They are not attached by much. I am sure I will end up putting them on before the next launch in the spring.

Nice one indeed :) I've been designing one very similar to that in Rocksim. Just love rockets that have cool transitions between BTs. :D

Regards,
Todd

Here is a good launch picture a friend of mine took. Launched here with a D12-7

How much are the MRC Trailblazers going for these days???

I really like that model!

Without the "recruits" it sorta looks like the the Nike-Apache.

So I did a search...Look what I found!

https://www.gt.org/keweenaw-rocket-base/

Scroll down to "Sizes"

The "Technical" is right out of Rockets of the world! Cool huh?

OK now I gotta go build one!

There is one on Ebay for an opening bid of $44.95 and buy it now for $89.95

I would sure like another one..

Thank you all for the nice comments..

:)

It IS a beautiful kit. I have one that did a lawn dart years ago. I should resurrect it and get it flight worthy.

Maybe when I get home i'll dig it out of the pile and assess what would be needed to get her going again. cool thread!

I bought one long ago when MRC came out with their Concept II stuff. My Opinion.. they were junk... a lot of room for improvement. I used superglue and epoxy method of building the bird, since the TTW fin mounting was limited to a very small plastic tab that did not provide much strength... So I finally get my biult... then I was not paying atention to where the nosecone was when I walked through the doorway... and .... * sniff * ..... Crushed the rocket. :(. I set it aside for future repairs... but it disapeared. I don't know where my Trailblazer went. Maybe it ran away because I called it junk and smashed it?

I'd be happy to sell 'em for $45 plus priority shipping.
I'll check the (cough) "warehouse" for current inventory quantity.
Whomever wants one should start chiming in.
First chirp gets the worm, or something like that.

How many would you happen to have?

I know I have at least one of them, possibly as many as six if I look in the right box.

Also have possibly six of the Standard ARM kits as well.
Big and beefy model suited for modifying to G level I'd imagine.

All unopened blisterpak'd, but that means nothing to "builders", right???
