The Taurus 1 was the first, and to date, the only MPC kit I have built, though I have a few others around. It was built at a time when I was unfortunately contemptuous of 13mm motors. I thought of them and simple, and "too small". This kit changed much of that perception. It was not a difficult build by any stretch of the imagination but it produced a nice result. It really scoots on an A motor.
I like the look of the side boosters and have even thought, fleetingly, of trying to retrofit them for MMX.
