Please Please Please
......

remember to run a TRF search under the vendors name before you order from someone who you have not done a fair amout of business with....

I could have saved myself more than a bit of frustration if I had done this before placing my last order....

What's Up Hobbies sells Aerotech and CTI motors. Currently they don't ship, but they do sell on-site at most of the SoCal high power launches and some AZ/NV launches.

Joe, don't take this the wrong way, but when was the last time Pete's Rockets had a shipment? Wasn't it the 38mm White Lightning stuff made by Ellis in spring 2002?

It may have been even before that. We have been in contact with them and they need to place an order just so we know what they want.

Most of our International customers have been put aside while we rebuild. We have shipped to New Zealand and Switzerland since the fire but the others we have not.

Australia is very close to shipping.

We are attempting to stage for the Canadian dealers who are the only other international customers from the list that have orders in house. We feel that most of the dealers from the list will place orders when they know we can ship in a more timely manner.

Getting motors out of the country requires a tremendous amount of paperwork and permits etc. as you may imagine.

We will continue to work with these places as time moves forward.

From what we are understanding the CE marking standards have not been established as of yet.

The CE marking may be part of the hold up on placing an order. We are willing to comply with the requirements if we knew what they were. :(

I admit I don't know the ins and outs of the process, but how come we see Cesaroni motors over here, and not Aerotech?

I cannot answer that.

I can tell you that Pete does not have an order in with us and hasn't for quite some time.

Spacetec just placed an order yesterday in anticipation of the upcoming ALRS. This is going to be tough to fill completely in such a short time frame but we will see what we can do. I believe that launch is scheduled for the beginning of September.

WHAT?

what happened to hobbylinc?!? they used to have an amazing selection of aerotech motors! even the aerotech site has gone dry. what happened? any online stores still around that have practically every aerotech motor? (hobbylinc sold aerotec's D-G motors with almost every combination of delays about 2 years ago)

Hobby Haven - Houston TX

The URL you listed is a store in Iowa, with an extremely limited selection of model rockets and no motors as far as I can tell.

Hobby Haven in Houston is actually at:

http://www.launchpad200.com,

with company info at:

http://www.launchpad2000.com/info.html

I would suggest listing them as Launch Pad 2000 instead of Hobby Haven, since that's how they refer to themselves.
