I did an experiment the other day where I applied the dried spread tow fabric on to the prepreg and thanks to dunestone’s
good compression properties, I got a decent finish on a tube. The finish look on the fabric is not as good since the fabric is dry and not prepregged, the shrink tape presses it down and moves the material.
Never the less this tube looks pretty good. I have yet to cut the ends. This tube is for sale. I wanted to ask, will you guys like to see more of these tubes?
This tube will be cut to 24” and is 250F resistant. I will get OD details once I cut the tube. ID at 3.9”
I am asking $136 for this tube plus shipping.
