Why are cows sacred in India?

Because they say "Oohm" backwards...

HA!

Here's my contribution...darn, I couldn't find a quick 5 second clip of Harpo blowing his horn, but this one is fun to watch even after the first 10 second gag...

I can only guess that this is an obtuse and indirect way to announce that its "dress like a cow day" at Chic fil a.
Wear something cow print and get free chicken.

I'm sure there are clearer ways to get the point across, but you know, different strokes for different blokes.

You guy's r too funny,,
But I like the one with the girl,, lol..

This is a great thread. Made me smile and have fun. That Beep Beep Like a Sheep does make me wonder why a cow was going Meow, instead of Moo.

Five seconds later that cow head-butted her...they do that you know. You can only mock them when there's a fence between you. Either that or it's a clip from a video that can't be linked to from this forum.

Unless they're like mine that would come to me because they thought that a) I would hand feed them a treat, or b) I would scratch them behind the ears.

Seriously.

I knew someone, whose mother trained some cows. Her walk to work, the shortcut, was thru a cow pasture. they started to come to her after a while, and walk with her, so she started to teach one or two a trick, like you do with a dog. After a year or two, she had a few of them doing spins, walking with her (heeling) and would stop & start.. The farmer, the owner was apparently quite surprised to learn she was teach his cows tricks!

My brother Steve has in laws in Virginia..
They had a few cows,, among other animals..
One year when he went for a visit there was a calf 6 or 8 weeks old..
He played with it like it was a puppy for 2 or 3 weeks...
He and his wife left..
They went back for another visit a bit over a year later...
The calf had grown,, but still remembered Steve and how much fun it was playing with him..
When Steve first showed up the cow ran up to him and head butted him...
He said it knocked him for a loop,, he wasn't ready for it...

How heavy is a year and a half old cow ??
