What movies and TV shows have featured model rockets?
October Sky, obviously.
What else?

And please note: I don't mean ones that used a model rocket as a visual effect for a full size rocket.
I mean the ones we launch as our hobby.

Simpsons they make a rocket (with extra YAW control). They blow up a few times. Flanders flies his, it lands back in the box and the flaps fold closed. After Homer's rocket is built and it burns down the church.

An old 80s horror movie "The Gate" they kill a demon shooting in with a model rocket.

That was a pretty strong ejection charge.

Who can forget Sid?

Sid's rocket was a firework, and not a model rocket though.

Big Bang theory has featured them. Here's the first clip I found:

Estes Mercury Redstones in HBO's From The Earth To The Moon and BBC's Space Race.
